I graduated in 2014 as a bachelor physiotherapist at the Hogeschool Leiden. The following year in 2015, after specializing in knee and hip-related disorders, I started the master's manual therapy at the SOMT University of Physiotherapy in Amersfoort. In September 2018 I successfully completed this master, and I started as a master manual therapist in a private practice.
In addition to my work as a manual therapist and senior physiotherapist, I worked for two days as a teacher in physical therapy at Hogeschool Leiden. I’m also a member of the hip network Haaglanden; a network between orthopedic surgeons, sports doctors and physiotherapists with the aim of treating complex hip disorders as optimally as possible, multidisciplinary.
I have been working for the practice since first November 2019. In addition to many spine-related complaints to the back and neck, I also treat complaints of the extremities, with specific attention to the knee- and hip joint.
In my work as a master manual therapist and senior physiotherapist, the patient will always be the centre of attention. Together with the patient, I will organize the therapy in such a way that it matches the mutual expectations as closely as possible. Another aim is to look for possibilities in which the patient can regain control of his or her health.
