COVID-19
The physical possibilities for physiotherapy and manual therapy in practice will be safely extended from 1 May. This is done on the basis of a protocol that has been approved by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and RIVM, whereby safety for the client and therapist is of course paramount.
When can treatment take place in practice?
When making an appointment, a number of questions will be asked to assess whether the appointment can take place in the practice. When in doubt or when the situation changes (for example in case of illness or nose and throat cold and or fever), we ask you to contact us. This way we can discuss the best option.
What does a treatment look like in the practice?
Treatment can take place in a safe and responsible manner with a number of adjustments.
The practice is set up differently, so that the 1.5 meters can be maintained.
The treatment itself may also look slightly different than before and in certain cases the therapist will use personal protective equipment such as a mouth mask, safety glasses and gloves. These protective equipment is not always necessary, the therapist can provide more information about this.
- After entering use disinfection lotion on the hands. (offered in practice)
- Keep 1.5 meters away from all persons in the practice
- Come alone or if necessary with a maximum of 1 supervisor
- Make sure to be present for your appointment not more then 5 minutes in advance and go home immediately after the treatment
- Take each other into account.
Thank you to everyone for your understanding and cooperation to get through this period together as well as possible. In addition to these new options for treatment in practice, online physiotherapy by means of (video) calling remains of course an important alternative and this remains possible for everyone for whom this is desired or necessary.
